Market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance construction equipment, Kubota UK, will be present at the Hillhead 2016 exhibition show this June 28-30 to celebrate their 50,000th excavator sale.
To commemorate the said success, they will be showcasing their 50K gold-painted Kubota KX-71 mini excavator, called the “Gold Digger.” This special edition machine will be seen at the company’s stand (W3), just beside the original Kubota KH10, which is the very first mini excavator unit that they have released in 1979 and have sold in the markets of Irish and UK.
“Kubota will be proudly highlighting our 50,000th excavator sale at Hillhead this year, a fitting occasion with it being the biggest show of its kind in the UK,” says Dave Roberts, the Managing Director of Kubota UK. “Since our first excavator sale in 1979, we haven’t lost sight of the importance of continually innovating our product and service offering for our customers, giving us the best opportunity to maintain Kubota’s position as market leader for compact construction equipment,” he added.
The Kubota KX-71 in gold paintwork is said to be the most expensive gold digger in the world. It is engineered to deliver the most superior power and performance, and is built to offer the deepest digging depth. It is also armed with a comfortable operator cabin, an outstanding maneuverability, and high levels of safety and durability.
Meanwhile, the manufacturer’s Construction Business Development Manager, Neil Winfield, shared the other machinery that they will be exhibiting at the show. In a statement, he said: “At Hillhead we are looking forward to exhibiting the latest developments in our mini excavator, tracked carrier, wheel loader and engine range for the first time in the UK, plus the exciting new partnership with Trakm8, which offers Kubota customers best-in-class telematics solutions. It promises to be a great event, and I welcome you all to join us on Stand W3.”
Together with the KX-71 and the other new tracked carrier and wheel loader models, Kubota will also showcase their wide-range of engine solutions at the 3-day event.
