Kubota introduced their latest addition to their range of mini excavators. Kubota launched their new KX101-3a4 Hi-Spec and U27-4 Hi-Spec machines in the UK, at Hillhead for the first time. They also exhibited the new conventional KX101-3a4 which is a replacement for the current KX101-3a3 model.
The new Hi-Spec excavators showcase a number of enhancements. These features include the incorporation of extra hydraulic pipes that would increase the powering of auxiliary equipment. These two machines also guarantee that they can work with a greater number of attachments.
In addition to the U27-4 Hi-Spec and KX101-3a4 Hi-Spec being restyled around the superstructure panels and counterweight, they feature new tie down points that allow them to meet European legislation.
According to Neil Winfield, the existing U27-4 and KX101-3a3 models are market leaders in their categories since they are able to tackle the most demanding jobs effortlessly. Kubota Construction’s Business Development Manager adds that today, we require machines to work hard to maximise the return on investment. He further explains that they launched these two Hi-Spec models to perform a wide range of tasks using various attachments.
Operators of the U27-4 can get to enjoy the largest and the most luxurious cab in its class. Kubota guarantees unrivaled visibility to enhance safety, as well as productivity. This compact and tough zero-tail swing mini excavator also provides a wider and lower entrance. This promotes easier entry and exit to the cabin.
Aside from that, the U27-4 offers a powerful and well-balanced digging force. This allows operators to dig deeper, faster, and more efficiently without compromising stability. Unlike other zero-tail swing excavators, there is no need to add any weights. With a wide working range, this Hi-Spec can rival even the higher-end excavators.
On the other hand, the KX101-3a4 boasts of a smooth simultaneous operation. It delivers an outstanding attachment versatility and powerful digging force. Both the conventional and Hi-Spec version offer a digging depth of 3300mm and a range of 3720mm.
Kubota equipped all new machines with their own engines that exceed the emission levels of the European legislation.
